Shaking someone’s hand, a weaving hand, a waving hand, the saving hand, a conducter’s flitting flying hand, a healing hand, a warning hand, a working hand, a hand, many hands, my mother’s hands.

I believe in the hand because the hands keep surprising, hands talk, they feel, they make things happen, they disagree with the brain, they learn and absorb and desire.

I believe in the impact of texture, the raw, the unfinished, material and material expression. The textile of life, the fibre of love.

The project “Hand Fibre Matter” is a collaboration with different craftsmen from different countries all over the world, a collection of handwoven rugs to celebrate the soul, vibration and quality of the handmade, the hand.
